Just had a wonderful stay! The hosts, Anne and John, are super welcoming, and the breakfast was a delicious treat every morning. Our room was spotlessly clean with nice personal touches. Only tricky bit was finding the place initially. Would definitely return!

The local dining scene is a real gem! I had a scrumptious full English breakfast that left me buzzing, and you can’t miss the Black Cat Cafe just 0.2 km away for a cozy bite. The attentiveness of Ann and John made each meal memorable. The homemade jams served at breakfast were sheer bliss!

Now, a cheeky critique, the shower pressure wasn’t all that strong, darling! And make sure to approach Snitterton Road from the right end, or you’ll find yourself doing a little scenic detour over the river and uphill, like we did!

The bed was a bit small for my comfort. The shower pressure was disappointing, lacking enough strength. reaching the B&B was confusing due to poor signage.

Had a great time here with friends! The hosts were super helpful and the breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jam. The peaceful garden view from our room made waking up a treat. We explored nearby walking trails and visited Chatsworth House, both totally worth it!

Ellen House is an enchanting retreat. Our hosts Ann and John were incredibly warm and knowledgeable, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The garden room was pristine and offered delightful garden views. Breakfast was artfully prepared, especially the delicious eggs benedict and homemade treats in our room.

The Double Room was a great size, spotlessly clean, and the decor cute. Little touches like fresh milk for tea and homemade biscuits were lovely. The shower had decent pressure, and the bed was comfy. I wish there were a few more snacks available and maybe clearer signage for finding the place on arrival.
